Skin AwardThis year, TVB has added a new award called the Diamond Skin Award to the contestant with the best skin. After two rounds of judging, the winner for this award is #2 Mandy Cho. She will receive a cash price and free cosmetic certificate that worth around 135,000 HK dollar. According to one of the judges, Cerina de Graca gave Mandy Cho that highest score because her skin is very smooth and bright. While another judge, Leung Zi Shan thought Mandy deserved the award because she was beautiful and had the winner look. DoorAfter a night of excitment, happiness and sadness, the twelve finalists for miss hong kong 2003 attended a press conference in the early morning filled with energy to take on the next challenges. Among the contestants, #18 Selena Lee who won the titles of Miss Photogenic and Miss Talent was particular excited as she had trouble getting to sleep. night (a summary from yahoo news, Oriental Daily and SingPao)The wait is over! Miss Hong Kong 2003 semifinal is only hours away! As the 20 contestants gathered around for their rehersal yesterday, the ladies wore bikini-style swimsuits. It was obvious that TVB was trying to put the girls in tight bathing suits to enhance their figures, instead because the bikini bottoms are too tight, many girls showed their cellulite and flab hanging out from the bathing suit. Out of the 20 contestants, only #7 showed desired effect. The favourites to enter into the finals are #2 Mandy, #7 Stephanie Wong, #10 Ivy Tam and #11 Rabee'a Yeung, on the other hand, the favourites to be out of the finals are #1 Silver Kwok, #4 Marble Ng, #6 Jacquline Lam, #14 Livia Tang and #16 Kathy Kei. At the same time they were asked to vote for Miss Photogenic amongthemselves. #2 Mandy wins it with 9 votes, followed by #14 Livia. Mandy was very happy that she got the support of their fellow contestans and despite the fact that she voted #14 Livia for the title, she is still very confident.
