    Lisa Li was crowned Miss Chinese New Zealand at Aotea Centre in Auckland, New Zealand.

    1st RU was #8 Hyde Sham (18 yrs) & 2nd RU was #3 Julie Ding (18 yrs).

    Winner #2 Lisa also won Miss Photogenic award. The 18 year old is a University student and enjoys painting, volleyball & skating. Lisa will represent Auckland at Miss Chinese International 2008.

    VietNamNet Bridge – Miss Hai Duong 2006 Tran Thi Huong Giang, one of the 10 finalists at Miss Vietnam 2006, will represent Vietnam at Miss Asia 2007 to be held in Hong Kong and China.

    Huong Giang is 20 years old, 1 m 78 in height and 54 kg in weight. Her body measurements are 84-61-93. She is at present a junior student majoring in journalism at HCM City University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

    Miss Hai Duong said she was also improving her English and learning dancing at the moment. ’’I’m confident in my knowledge and experiences that I have accumulated for years. The only thing I’m worried about now is how to stay healthy from now until the end of the contest,” said the beauty.

    Huong Giang will wear designs by Van Thanh Cong and Viet Hung during the contest. On her stay in Hong Kong and China, Huong Giang and more than 50 other candidates from all over Asia will take part in numerous activities including charity works for disadvantaged children.

    Former MCT 2000 Cissy Wang & actor husband Donnie Yen attended a Parmigiani watch event in Central (HK). The two were previously in Beijing. It was revealed the new baby will be due in December & that Donnie will be taking a 2-week vacation at that time for the impending birth. He would like to be there to cut the umbilical cord as there wasn’t enough time to cut it with their first child Jasmine.

    Donnie says the baby’s name may be called James as his father-in-law loves James Bond.

    Miss HK 1991 1st RU Valerie Chow Ga-Ling is 4 months pregnant with her first child. Currently 4 months pregnant, Valerie said over a phone interview that "The first birth can be a little nerve wrecking but my husband and I are very happy & blessed! We do not know the sex of the baby yet".

    Miss HK 1993 contestant Theresa Mak & husband Wong Gwok-Ho are expecting their new baby next month!

    MCI 1996 1st RU Melissa Ng Mei-Han already had her baby but the sex is unknown.
