  The glitz and glamour of the ballroom is back with a new series of Dancing with the Stars returning this February.

  You know the drill! High achievers hit the dance floor with a professional dance partner in a live ballroom dancing competition.

  Hosted by Daryl Somers and Sonia Kruger, each week the couples will face a vote from the public and a vote from a panel of expert judges, with the lowest-scoring duo knocked out of the competition.

  Former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins signed a million-dollar deal with the lingerie company Lovable. Hawkins has signed a three-year agreement with the company to promote their "intimates" throughout Australia, New Zealand and maybe even Asia.

  As the new "ambassador" for Lovable, the 22-year-old Newcastle beauty will combine modelling with helping to design products and create advertising campaigns.

  The contract follows successful endorsements for Lux body wash, Myer, Pepsi and a five-star Hong Kong residential development.

  The 21st Annual Miss Asian America Pageant will be held on Saturday, August 5th, 2006 in San Francisco, California.

  Contestants for the 21st Annual Miss Asian America Pageant will see the culmination of over two decades of development, a stepping stone for young women who have gone on to have successful careers in business, law, education, health, entertainment and politics. Previous titleholders include Mona Lee, First Lady of the State of Washington and Julie Luck, News Reporter in the San Francisco Bay Area. Many contestants have gone on to win other national and international pageant titles.   For almost 50 years, young women from throughout the United States come to San Francisco to compete for prizes and scholarships in the annual Miss Chinatown USA Pageant. The winners will become goodwill ambassadors for the Chinese community throughout the new year.
