The beautiful 20 yr old foreign trade student of Lima, Cinthia Tong was crowed Miss Tusan Peru 2004 in a ceremony that extended until 2am on Sunday! Special guest was Miss China World, Guam Qi. The event was held at the halls of the Golden Palance of San Isidro before several hundred members of the Chinese Peruvian Association, wgere 17 anxious contestants competed for the title.

"I am very proud to have the title because it will allow me & others to learn about the Chinese culture in Peru. My papa is Chinese and my Peruvian mother and master to both countries ", said Cinthia while she received the greetings of her friends and relatives. She indicated that between her first tasks as Miss Tusan is to worry the construction of the house for the old ones of the Chinese colony resident in Peru. Cinthia also considers an honor to have met Miss China World, Guan Qi who came especially to the Miss Tusan Peru pageant. "Guam Is a very pretty, simple & sincere woman, who's a great example for all of us". Rana's tidbit - I guess Cinthia didn't see the little fit she threw at Miss World 2003...
