The 2005 Miss HK court attended a press conference for local recruitment.
There'll be 4 overseas contestants this yr & 16 contestants
will be competing for the title of Miss HK 2006. The delegates
will be travelling to Korea for outdoor filming. Application period
for local recruitment is April 11th - April 30th.

28th - March 20th 2006 (Local recruitment will
begin in March/April).
A press conference for overseas recruitment
was held on February 27th. Those present were organizers Mr.
Ho Lai-Chuen, Miss Chan Ji-Lin, Miss Ho Siu-Wai,
Miss HK 2005 Tracy Ip,

2nd RU Carrie Lam,
Miss Photogenic Shermon Tang,
& Miss Int’ Goodwill Natalie
Hui.
Eligibility
- The contestant must be female
- The contestant must be at least 17 years of age by June 1 2006
(by Western reckoning) and has not attained 26 years of age by
February 28th 2007 (by Western reckoning).
- The contestant must be the holder of a valid Hong Kong Identity
Card or Hong Kong Passport of HK Birth Certificate
- The contestant must have resided in Hong Kong for a continuous
period of two years or an aggregate period of two years on the
day that she signs the application form
- The contestant must not be bound by any contract which will
prevent her from entering the contract with TVB
- The contestant must not be an employee of TVB or its subsidiaries
- Can't be married or has ever been pregnant.
Overseas recruitment began in 1991. That year,

who resided in Los Angeles became the winner, Miss International
Goodwill, & Miss Humor at Miss Hong Kong 1991. Other successful
