Winner Loletta Chu Ling-Ling has always been regarded as the most beautiful Miss Hong Kong. She represented Hong Kong at Miss Universe 1977 where she finished in an impressive 16th! After her reign, she married Timothy Fok Jun-Ting and had three sons. They later divorced in September 2006.

Ada Liu was another stunner of the competition. The 17 year old aspired to be a singer & actress. During the coronation, there was slight chaos as one of the judges Mrs Lee Fuk-Kau (whose eyesight was quite poor, kept taking on & off her spectacles) announced #28 Ada as #23 !! Thankfully she said her name correctly. But #23 was seen being consoled by another delegate.

Dorothy Yu hosted many shows in the early 80s. However, her face was particially disfigured due to a horrific car accident. Dorothy came through and bravely conquered her obstacles. But tragedy struck again when she died of cancer in the 1993.

#1 Connie Mak Kit-Man who later became a singer, withdrew from the final due to a leg injury.
