Currently residing in the UK, Rowena made the Semi-Finals at the 1976 Miss Universe Pageant where she placed 16th. It was also the only year where it was held in Hong Kong.

Rowena's winning reaction was the most memorable in the history of MHK. She was so delighted with her win she began crying & laughing hysterically. It was very refreshing to see.

1st RU Christine's win caused the audience to murmur a bit.

2nd RU Margaret had the best figure of the group.

#9 Miss Photogenic Cora Mui Hin-Yan became a famous actress.
